Looking for an indoor team building activity that genuinely shakes things up — one that gets people who see each other every day to actually connect? #MaiDireTeamBuilding is the format you’ve been waiting for.
Freely inspired by the legendary Japanese TV show #MaiDireBanzai — a cult classic of the ’80s and ’90s — this format turns colleagues, managers and cross-functional teams into fierce competing squads, ready to tackle hilarious, physically engaging and surprisingly creative challenges.
From the very first moment, a distinctive iconic element marks the start of the game and levels the playing field: from that point on, only the team and the challenges ahead matter.
Activities run simultaneously across multiple stations, with all teams engaged at the same time in different challenges. The rotation structure ensures constant energy and zero downtime — ideal for indoor environments where logistics need to be smooth and precise.
Each team — 4 to 10 people per station — rotates through a series of very different challenges: physical coordination, non-verbal communication, rapid problem solving, balance, precision and creativity. No two challenges are the same, and that’s by design: in a group of 50, 80 or 150 people, skills are distributed. This format brings them all to the surface.
Challenges run simultaneously in dedicated areas of the same space: gyms, sports halls, multipurpose rooms, exhibition pavilions, hotel ballrooms and congress centres. The larger the space, the better the experience.
Once all rotations are complete, every team comes together for a collective final challenge drawn at random: a choreography, a theatrical scene, a group painting, a stop-motion video or a caviardage. A finale that turns competition into shared creation.
Teams are intentionally built by mixing people from different departments, offices and functions. Nothing is more effective than a shared challenge — especially a slightly ridiculous one — for creating connections that outlast the event itself.
Physical, creative, communicative and logical challenges alternate so that every participant — regardless of age, fitness level or role — can find their moment and make a meaningful contribution to the team.
One of the key advantages of the indoor format: whatever the season, whatever the forecast outside, the experience runs flawlessly. Ideal for winter events, new-year kick-offs and autumn company days.
The parallel station structure scales easily to any group size. We bring all the materials and handle the full setup — all you need to provide is the space.
#MaiDireTeamBuilding indoor integrates naturally into larger corporate events, as a high-energy afternoon activity following plenary sessions or as the centrepiece of the day.
We organise the format across Italy — Milan, Rome and all major cities — adapting the setup to the available space. We bring everything needed and manage the teams with our experienced facilitation staff. The only requirement: a space large enough to host multiple simultaneous game stations.
From 20 to 150 people. The rotation structure ensures everyone is always active — no waiting around.
Approximately 3 hours, including briefing, rotations and the final challenge. Timing is flexible to fit your event schedule.
A large space with multiple separable areas: gyms, sports halls, multipurpose rooms, exhibition halls. The more floor space, the better the experience.
That’s precisely what it’s designed for. Teams are built to mix people from different functions, and the challenges demand immediate collaboration. The result is a level of connection between colleagues that no aperitivo has ever managed to replicate.
Nothing. We take care of everything — materials, setup, facilitation and the distinctive element that marks the start of the game and that participants will be talking about long after the day is over.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google Ireland Limited is owned by Google LLC USA. Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this site, compile reports on its activities, and share them with other services developed by Google.
To ensure greater compliance with the GDPR regarding the transfer of data outside the EU, such transfers should only be carried out in anonymous form. It is important to emphasize that simple anonymization does not provide a sufficient level of protection for personal data exported outside the EU. For this reason, the data sent to Google Analytics, and therefore potentially accessible outside the EU, can be anonymized using a proxy system called My Agile Pixel. This system can replace your personal data, such as your IP address, with anonymous information that cannot be traced back to you. As a result, in the event of a data transfer to non-EU countries or to the United States, it will not be your personal data being transferred, but rather anonymous data.
The collected data is used for the purposes of personalizing the experience and statistical tracking. You can find more information on the page "More information on how Google processes personal information".
